We can't have pilots sitting around idle, especially Orange Line Air Freight guys. They tend to...well...find ways of entertaining themselves that others, and especially the FAA tends to frown upon.
Here is how to get yourself up in the air and moving when no contract or special jobs are available or assigned to you.
First, start a new thread with your name as the subject and then copy and paste the bold sections of the following form and fill them out:
Current Rank:
Aircraft:
Location:
(Which airport you and your plane are currently located at. Most jobs should have you returning to KHIO but not all will.)
The Exception To The Rule:[/u]
Orange Line Airways pilots. All passenger division pilots, except for our charter pilots, will have a set schedule they should follow. Whenever they make a flight, they should post it in their PIREPs. This schedule is theirs to follow and should have flights for each day of the week. (They aren't expected to fly everyday but when they do fly they should fly the schedule based on the actual date they are flying)
Passenger Division pilots can request new schedules at any time. Their request will be assigned to them if available.
Once you have filled out the form you will be assigned a job ASAP. Due to the nature of our hobby and real life circumstances we ask that everyone has patience when awaiting an assignment. Flying is our passion and what brings us together, so we will try to keep everyone in the air.
